Identify the surface
Metal, painted panels, plastics and glass can differ in surface energy and coating strength. Tell the supplier about texture, cleanliness, dwell time and indoor or outdoor exposure.
Validate a sample
Apply a sample using representative line pressure and duration. After storage, inspect for edge lift, adhesive residue and surface change. Follow the specific product data sheet and surface manufacturer's instructions.
