Angular cartons and irregular items can create local stress in shrink film. Evaluate the actual technical data and pack behaviour rather than relying only on a high-strength label.
Corner and seal risks
Corner puncture, seal failure and abrasion in transit are separate problems. Rounding product edges or using suitable protection may be considered alongside film selection.
Line and distribution trials
Compare candidate films on the same product and equipment settings; inspect corners and seals after cooling. Then test samples under representative stacking and transport conditions. Thickness alone does not guarantee puncture performance.
