Standard polyolefin film forms a clear wrap around products when heated. Selection should reflect both package dimensions and the wrapping line.
Product and pack dimensions
Measure height, width and protrusions. Film width must allow adequate sealing space; excessive slack can cause uneven shrinkage. Trial packs with sharp corners.
Validate on the line
Run representative samples on the existing wrapper and tunnel. Check seal integrity, appearance and throughput. Request applicable food-contact documentation where relevant.
