Process conditions
Establish paint system, potential bake temperature, duration and surface temperature in advance. Do not assume general-purpose tape is suited to high heat or extended dwell; request the specific data sheet.
Application and inspection
Trial tape on a suitably prepared surface. Inspect edge lifting, paint bleed and removal marks. Follow vehicle, coating and equipment manufacturers' safety and application instructions.
