Clean, sound surfaces
Assess loose coating, heavy dust and dirt before taping. Choose a suitable cleaning method, follow surface manufacturer instructions for any cleaner and allow the surface to dry as required.
Adhesion trial
Apply tape to a small area, check edge contact and remove it after the expected process time. Cleaning and testing do not guarantee results on every surface; discuss observed problems with the manufacturer.
