Filament tape can be considered as one carton-sealing option when the product and application are suitable. Carton quality, box weight and shipping conditions affect the result.
Review the carton and application
Ensure flaps close properly and the surface is clean. Set tape width, position and number of strips according to the package design and manufacturer instructions.
Run a shipping trial
Test sample cartons under representative transport and stacking conditions and record flap opening or lifted tape.
