Sunlight and temperature changes can affect removal behaviour of some films and adhesives. Do not assume all protective films suit outdoor or prolonged sun exposure.
Verify technical conditions
Ask the film supplier for recommended UV and temperature conditions, permitted dwell time and compatibility with the intended surface. Do not treat indoor and outdoor storage as equivalent.
Test representative exposure
Inspect samples exposed for representative duration and conditions for edge lift, removal and surface change. Protective packaging and shaded storage can also be considered, subject to product limits.
