Surface geometry
Assess flatness, gaps and tolerances. Some foam products are designed for uneven surfaces, while thin-film products may suit applications where low thickness is needed.
Test the product
Thickness or appearance alone does not establish suitability. Plan adhesion, dwell and removal tests for both surfaces using product guidance.
