Electronics differ in sensitivity to electrostatic discharge, impact and moisture. Follow the component manufacturer’s requirements for inner packaging.
Specify internal protection
Where needed, use suitable ESD protective bags and dividers and confirm compliance with the required standard. Choose cushioning that limits movement in transit.
Seal the outer carton
Choose tape appropriate to the carton and a suitable pallet pattern. Do not assume ordinary packing tape provides ESD protection; follow product procedures for labelling and testing.
