Inspect the surface
Look for loose paint, dirt and damaged coatings. If a cleaner is needed, follow the surface manufacturer's guidance and test compatibility on an inconspicuous area.
Application and removal trial
Allow appropriate drying and apply the tape using the supplier's recommended pressure. At the intended dwell time check for edge lift, residue and surface damage.
