Duct tape may be considered to temporarily hold some lightweight items together. Bundle geometry, edges and surface sensitivity matter when selecting it.
Surface and contact
Choose tape width, bundle diameter and contact area for the product. On coated or delicate items test whether a suitable intermediate material is needed instead of direct tape contact.
Transport check
Trial samples under expected transport and stacking conditions and inspect loosening, sliding and residue. Heavy or safety-critical loads require suitable strapping and engineering assessment.
