Drip irrigation kits combine coiled tubing with many small fittings. Packaging should keep the kit complete and prevent crushing or tangling that could affect the tubing.

This guide provides general packaging information. Validate critical applications with representative trials and supplier instructions.
Coil tubing to supplier guidance
Follow the tubing maker’s recommendations for coil diameter and restraint. Ties should not crush the tube, and the coil should retain its shape in transit. If UV or outdoor protection is needed, assess it against product requirements rather than assuming an outer carton is enough.
Separate fitting kits
Match elbows, valves, emitters and adapters to a pick list, then pack them in separate bags or compartments. Do not leave small parts loose inside the coil. Check kit contents before dispatch and keep the product identification visible.
Monitor crushing in storage and delivery
Select carton dimensions for the coil and verify strength if heavy items may be stacked above it. On pallets, check the base pattern and ensure wrap does not distort the product. Sample-check tubing shape and accessory completeness at receipt.

Frequently asked questions
Can drip tubing be wrapped in stretch film?
The need depends on material and storage conditions. Wrapping must not crush tubing or conflict with manufacturer instructions.
How can missing small parts be prevented?
Use a kit checklist, separate compartments and a second contents check before carton closure.
