Tape width and bond area must be assessed with joint geometry. A larger area alone does not guarantee a safe installation.
Measure the geometry
Identify part dimensions, contact surface and how the load acts on the bond. Consult the data sheet for size and application conditions.
Test the joint
Test actual parts and obtain a qualified mounting assessment for critical connections or falling-object risks.
