Dusty, damp or damaged cardboard can prevent full tape contact. Assess carton condition and environment when choosing tape.
Inspect the surface
Check for loose fibres and contamination and replace unsuitable packaging where necessary. Meet manufacturer conditions before applying tape to a damp carton.
Check adhesion
Apply tape to the actual carton and press it down as instructed. Trial different coatings and recycled board types independently for adhesion.
