The ambient and substrate temperatures during application are different from the temperatures encountered during service. One value should not be substituted for the other.

Check application conditions and service range separately for the exact product. Humidity, substrate and joint movement can also affect performance.
Assess actual conditions
Consider both hot and cold operating periods and verify suitability with the supplier. A single temperature or performance value does not apply to every aluminium tape.
