Wrinkles and lifted edges can interrupt contact with the surface. Causes may include surface condition, application technique or an unsuitable tape.
During application
Prepare the surface as instructed and position the tape carefully. Apply the recommended pressure with a suitable tool and take care around sharp edges.
Final inspection
Inspect lifted or wrinkled areas. Select a correction method according to the manufacturer’s instructions, and reassess substrate, temperature, tape selection and application steps if problems recur.
