Acrylic-adhesive surface protection tapes are offered with different backings, adhesion and removal characteristics. The adhesive name alone does not establish suitability for every surface.

Review backing, thickness, dimensions, intended surface, adhesion test method and dwell recommendations. Results obtained on different surfaces or with different methods may not be directly comparable.
Test the actual surface
Compare the data-sheet limits with your temperature, pressure and dwell time. On coloured or coated surfaces test a small area for application and removal; inspect for residue and colour change.
